If you have low energy, lack of motivation, or lack of focus, you just might need some of what I call “Magic Potion.” I drink this delicious (lemony) potion before I workout to help me focus and have the energy to push through. The bonus about this “potion” is that it doesn’t give me the jitters from too much caffeine and my muscles don’t give out as quickly.
Here’s the scientific stuff: Energize has low dose caffeine from green tea that enhances performance and gives you a mental and physical boost. It has beta-alanine, an amino acid that helps to buffer lactic acid build-up to improve performance and delay exercise induced fatigue. And it has the plant-based nutrient quercetin that is a powerful performance enhancer that improves endurance and also delays muscle fatigue.
Here’s my experience: During the school year, I choose to workout in the morning, so that means I am up early, like 4 am early. It’s hard to have energy at 4 am, sometimes. I drink my “magic potion” and it gets me through and helps me get my day started. (Note: I still drink my coffee…just later in the morning). When I do particularly intense workouts, I am less likely to give up or stop because the pre-workout gives me the edge to push through. I can tell a difference if I workout without it. I will say this, if you have sensitivity to caffeine, then you would want to adjust how much you take…that’s common sense. That’s the beauty of this product, you can customize it to you.
